Is there a free plan?
Yes. Hobby is free and needs no card. It includes 3 automations, 50 new contacts a month and unlimited DMs.
What kind of Instagram account do I need?
A professional account, either Business or Creator. Switching is free in your Instagram settings.
Is Waveloop safe for my Instagram account?
Waveloop runs on Instagram's official API, and we're an Official Meta Business Partner and an Official Meta Tech Provider. Every DM follows Instagram's own messaging rules.
Do you need my Instagram password?
No. You connect with Instagram Login, so you sign in on Instagram itself. Waveloop never sees your password.
How much do the paid plans cost?
Creator is $15 a month or $150 a year. Business is $52.56 a month or $525.63 a year. Prices are in US dollars, taxes may apply, and in India you pay in rupees.
How does the free trial work?
Creator and Business start with a 7-day free trial. You add a card, nothing is charged that day, and your first payment is taken on day 7 unless you cancel. Each Instagram account can use a trial once.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancel in Settings, under Billing Information. You keep your plan until the end of the period you paid for.
How do keywords work?
Pick a word, like GUIDE. When someone comments it on your post, or sends it to you in a DM, they get your automatic reply. Capital letters don't matter, and one automation can have several keywords.
What is follow to unlock?
It asks people to follow you before your link arrives in their DMs. It's on the Creator and Business plans.
Can I collect email addresses?
Yes, on Creator and Business. Waveloop asks for an email inside the DM, and you can download every email as a CSV file from the Contacts page.
What does the AI agent do?
It drafts replies to DMs from the knowledge you give it, so you can review them in your dashboard. It's on the Business plan, which includes 3,000 AI credits a month.
Does Waveloop work with Claude and ChatGPT?
Yes. Connect Waveloop to Claude or ChatGPT and create automations by chatting. The same plan limits apply as in the dashboard.
