LinktoDM and Waveloop both send a DM when someone comments your keyword on a post or reel. Both answer story replies and DMs, and both can ask people to follow you and collect their email. Both run on Instagram's official API. LinktoDM says it is certified by Meta as a Tech Provider. Waveloop is an Official Meta Business Partner and an Official Meta Tech Provider.

There is no direct import from LinktoDM. You recreate each comment to DM automation in a few steps, or import several at once from a CSV file, within your plan's automation limit. Follow-up sequences do not carry over.
Can I use LinktoDM and Waveloop at the same time?
Yes, on different posts. If both tools run on the same post, one comment can trigger two DMs, so turn LinktoDM off on any post you move to Waveloop.
Does Waveloop send follow-up messages like LinktoDM?
No. Waveloop has no follow-up sequences or flow builder. Each automation sends your DM when the trigger happens, and on Creator it can ask for a follow or an email before the link.
