Yes. You can write several versions of your DM text, and each person gets one of them at random. It works on every plan, on all three automation types.
Different versions make your DMs read less like a template. Your button and link stay the same in every version. Only the wording changes.
Add versions
- Open the automation and go to the message step.
- Write your first message.
- Click Add another version under the box, then write the next one.
- Add as many as you like, then save.
Once there are two or more, the editor shows "Each DM sends one at random". Each version can be up to 1,000 characters. Remove a version with the small cross in its corner. Go back to one box and your message is sent exactly as written again.
Other things that rotate
- Public comment replies. Add several, and one is picked at random for each comment.
- The follow gate opening message. It has its own versions, separate from the main DM. The follow gate needs the Creator plan or higher.
Message versions are for text messages. A card reply sends the same card every time.
Make every version complete on its own. Anyone might get any of them, so each one should make sense and point to the same button.
