No. The Hobby plan is free and needs no card. You can start free and upgrade later from your dashboard.
Hobby gives you 3 automations, 50 new contacts a month and unlimited DMs.
When you do add a card
Creator and Business start with a 7-day free trial. The trial asks for a card, but nothing is charged that day.
- Pick Creator or Business when you sign up.
- Choose Start 7-day free trial and add your card.
- Use the full plan for 7 days.
- Your first payment is taken on day 7.
Cancel before day 7 and you pay nothing. You'll find it in Settings, under Billing Information. Each Instagram account can use a free trial once. More detail: How does the 7-day free trial work?
Paying right away
You can also skip the trial and pay on day one. Payments are handled by Dodo Payments, which emails you the official receipt.
