You need an Instagram professional account: Business or Creator. Personal accounts can't connect to Waveloop.
Both types work the same in Waveloop. Pick the one that fits how you use Instagram.
Switch in about a minute
- Open Instagram and go to your profile.
- Tap the menu at the top right and open your settings.
- Tap Account type and tools.
- Tap Switch to professional account.
- Choose Creator or Business and follow the prompts.
Switching is free. Your username, followers and posts stay the same.
Then connect it
Come back to Waveloop, open Connections and click Connect. You log in with Instagram on Instagram's own page, so Waveloop never sees your password.
