Open Connections in Waveloop, click Connect, and log in with Instagram. You approve access on Instagram's own page, so Waveloop never sees your password.
Your account needs to be a professional account, Business or Creator. Here's how to check.
Connect in five steps
- Log in to Waveloop and open Connections in the sidebar.
- Next to Instagram, click Connect.
- Check what Waveloop will be allowed to do, then click Continue with Meta.
- Log in to Instagram and approve access.
- You're sent back to your dashboard, connected.
Once you're connected, any automation you switch to Live starts running.
If it doesn't work
- You're on your phone, inside the Instagram app. In-app browsers can block the connection. Open the page in Safari or Chrome and try again.
- Your account is personal. Switch it to a professional account first, then try again.
- The Instagram is linked to another Waveloop account. Connecting it here moves it to this account. If the other account pays for a plan on that Instagram, email us and we'll move it for you.
