No. Waveloop never sees your Instagram password, so it can't store it.
How the login works
When you connect, Waveloop sends you to Instagram's own login page. You type your password there, on Instagram, and approve access.
Instagram then gives Waveloop an access key. That key only allows what you approved, like reading comments and sending DMs. It's how your automations run without your password.
What this means for you
- Change your Instagram password whenever you like. Waveloop never needs to know it.
- After a password change, Instagram may end Waveloop's access. If your automations stop, reconnect and they pick up where they left off. See My automations stopped or say "Reconnect".
- You can end Waveloop's access anytime, from Connections in Waveloop or from the connected apps in your Instagram settings.
Stay safe
Waveloop only ever connects to Instagram through Instagram's own login page. If someone asks for your Instagram password in Waveloop's name, don't share it. Report it to security@waveloopai.com.
Waveloop is an Official Meta Business Partner and an Official Meta Tech Provider, and it connects through Instagram's official API.
