Yes. The Hobby plan costs nothing, and you don't need a card to sign up.
What Hobby includes
- 3 automations
- 50 new contacts a month
- Unlimited DMs
- Comment to DM, with a link button in the DM and a public reply under the comment
- Story replies and DM keywords
Each Hobby automation runs on one specific post or reel. DMs sent on Hobby carry a small Waveloop footer.
What needs a paid plan
Follow to unlock, card replies, "Any post" and "Next post" automations, email collection and Intelligence need Creator or Business. The AI agent needs Business. See What are the plans and prices?
When you reach 50 contacts
A contact is a new person who triggers one of your automations. After 50 new contacts in a calendar month, new commenters stop getting your replies and DMs until the next month starts. Upgrading removes the limit.
Start on Hobby
- Go to Start free.
- Create your account.
- Connect your Instagram professional account and build your first automation.
You can upgrade from inside the app whenever you like. Your automations and contacts stay where they are.
