Most UPI failures happen in your UPI app or at your bank. When a payment fails, no charge is made, and you can try again.
Common reasons
- The request wasn't approved in time. Paying by UPI sends an AutoPay request to your UPI app. If it isn't approved before it expires, the payment times out.
- Your bank or UPI app declined it. The checkout can't override a decline from your bank or app.
- You tried to start a free trial. UPI isn't offered for the 7-day free trial. Trials need a credit or debit card, Apple Pay or Google Pay.
What to do
- Go back to checkout and try the payment again.
- Keep your UPI app open. When the AutoPay request appears, approve it straight away.
- If it fails again, pay with a credit or debit card. Card payments switch your plan on straight away.
If money left your account
Some payments take a few minutes to confirm. If you finished paying, your plan switches on shortly and you get an email receipt, so don't pay again. If your plan still hasn't changed, email contact@waveloopai.com with the date and the amount, and we'll look into it.
If a renewal fails later on, we email you, and you keep your plan for 7 days while you fix the payment.
