Waveloop is built to keep your account safe. It runs on Instagram's official API, and Waveloop is an Official Meta Business Partner and Official Meta Tech Provider.
How Waveloop protects your account
- Instagram Login. You connect on Instagram's own login screen. Waveloop never sees your password.
- Only what it needs. Waveloop asks Instagram for three permissions: your basic profile, your messages and your comments.
- Instagram's rules. Waveloop only sends where Instagram allows it: a private reply to a comment within 7 days, and replies within 24 hours of someone's last message.
- Careful retries. When Instagram pushes back with a rate limit, Waveloop waits before trying again. If Instagram blocks an action on your account, Waveloop stops retrying for that account for a full day.
- Blocked links. Waveloop refuses links known to break Meta's rules, like pirated app downloads, so they can't go out from your account.
What you can do
- Put links in the Button URL field. Instagram is more likely to block a DM with a link pasted in its text.
- Add a few message versions so your DMs don't all read the same.
- Send people what they asked for. A DM that matches the comment is a DM people expect.
- Keep your Instagram connected. If the dashboard asks you to reconnect, do it soon.
No tool can promise that an account will never be restricted. Waveloop follows Instagram's rules and backs off the moment Instagram pushes back.
